How do you like being forced to have health insurance and being tracked by the IRS for compliance

How do you like being forced to have health insurance and being tracked by the IRS for compliance?
Under this new health bill they are going to hire 16000 new IRS agents to track your compliance with the health insurance mandate. Dont matter to them if you cant afford health insurance you will be fined and face jail time so how many of you like this new HOPE and CHANGE? Doesnt this sound a lot like the Gestapo troopers in Nazi Germany?

I love the idea. Now republicans will have just one more thing they will have to worry about.

Not so fast, from what I am hearing this second on both news networks, Fox and CNN, 38 states will sue if this bill is passed on the grounds of it not being in compliance with the 10th amendment of the u.s. constitution. About time people are waking up!!

except the part that offers subsidies for people that can't afford it. i guess fox didn't report that part.

im a member of the next gen. and it might be cheaper to pay the penalty than to pay for healthcare :)

So how does this differ from you being required to carry auto insurance with the State and local police monitoring for compliance?

I Love it! I have insurance because my family is worth it, and it is part of being an adult. Sorry your life sucks and you don't think highly of yourself and/or family. Yeah, it sucks for paying for it, but i can sleap soundly at night, knowing my kids have health insurance.

Hope is for those too lazy or stupid to do anything about their own circumstances. Change is constant, you can not prevent it. IRS is an outdated antiquated and poorly run system where they understand the tax code about as well as my dog. Flat tax could save us all and lift our burden, Spending controls could make us wealthy beyond our wildest dreams. Insurance is a fraud in all its forms.

Well that's your Obama, Pelosi and Reid "Health Reform". I will be laughing my butt off at the Liberal outrage and backlash from all the irresponsible "get the bill any way you can" crazies or the "it's better than nothing" idiots when they start being hauled out of their basements and put in jail! People are clueless followers. Only 1 State in the Country will be allowed to offer Student Scholarships! Yep, it's in there...THE GOVERNMENT will decide who gets scholarships!!! What else would you expect of a 2087 page nightmare? Oh there is so much more in there...wait. Health reform is Obama's only priority because by passing it he will have created a Whole New World" for us with millions of new Government Jobs to control all the easily fooled Americans who are following him into a takeover by creating a Depression! Obama will need his own Gestapo to enforce his agenda.Sounds, looks, and reads real ugly to me!

Nazi Germany and Fuhrer Obama and Comrade Pelosi will be the end of our freedoms.

This will be great. I pay $40.00 a week now for insurance. Under their plan I will pay $120.00 a week. Nice bit of change there. He did promise change didn't he? I just hope that everyone that voted for him will be happy.

Die-hard socialists, which you find here on yahoo answers in great numbers (mostly because they don't have jobs), would rather give up all rights and die under socialized medicine as long as someone who is richer than them dies 5 minutes before them. Totally illogical and evil, but pure envy drives marxist politics.

If you cannot afford health care...you will be provided assistance. Don't stoop to spreading lies. You pay for insurance to drive...is your car more important that your health? Do you think other people should pay higher premiums because you did not have health care insurance? People protest against paying taxes yet benefit from what taxes buy....roads, clean water, police protection. Why do people think everyone else should pay for what they use? I am sick of freeloaders. People use the emergency room like most people use the doctors offices. Theresa Hines Kerry had it right...preventative medicine can save money. It can also save a lot of pain and suffering.
